PIVOT CITY (10) is close to breaking through after two consecutive placings, the latest coming when third over 1300m at Bendigo. Has a strong finish. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. NAMESAKE (13) showed good early dash and stalked the pace last start before drawing clear to score by a neck over 1200m at Mornington. Among the top chances again. PRANCING SPIRIT (14) closed off strongly last start to get up for second, beaten a neck, over 1200m at Mornington. Has been in the money four times over this course and distance. Should be involved in the finish. LAA DE SHA (15) made progress last start to finish third over 1200m at Mornington. Well placed and can figure in the finish again.
