WONDER KID (4) did a great job to score by one length over this course and distance last start in a nice progression on the first-up run. Facing a tougher assignment but he is good enough to figure in the finish. SAVOIR FAIRE (7) was below his best last time, finishing seventh and beaten 10 lengths over 2400m at this track after being in the firing line on the corner. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. DUBLIN JOURNAL (6) started at $4.20 last time and ran below expectations, finishing fifth and beaten 3 lengths at Casterton over 2000m. Meets some better types this time but a win is not out of the question. GREGOLIMO (5) returns from a short break after finishing 16th over 2000m in the LR Wagga Wagga Gold Cup four weeks ago. Fitness should hold up after a recent Flemington trial placing. Comes here with each-way claims.
