HOVLAND (12) is an honest type who impressed last time, scoring by 2.5 lengths over 1800m at Hawkesbury. Has been in sound form this prep with a win and a placing from three starts. Should prove tough to beat. KNIGHTS ARMOUR (2) drifted well back last start before storming home to score by 0.9 lengths over 2110m at Warwick Farm. Will prove tough to hold out again. MAJORIAN (19) is third up today. Turned in a better run last time when third, beaten 3.5 lengths, at Hawkesbury over 1800m. Will find this tougher but should be competitive. HEAVEN BOUND (14) showed good early speed over 1500m at Hawkesbury last time and went on to salute by 0.7 lengths. Harder here but is among the better hopes.
