PINK SHALALA (8) resumed three weeks ago over 1300m at Warwick Farm and was only beaten 1.4 lengths into sixth. Has never missed the placings at the second run back. Likely improver with strong prospects. COLOPHON (4) started at $3.90 last time on the back of a win at Kembla Grange two starts ago but was below his best, finishing ninth over 1400m at Randwick after being in contention on the turn. Beautifully placed and is sure to take a ton of beating. MAXIMUM DIVIDEND (11) is back from a spell of six months and does go well when fresh, including a win to launch last campaign over 1630m at Wyong. Fitter for a fourth in a recent trial over 1030m at Rosehill. Makes plenty of appeal. HELL TO PAY (7) put the writing on the wall last time when a close second at Randwick Kensington over 1300m. Should be nearing his peak at this stage of the campaign.
