NOCTUA (6) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at this track, finishing fourth and only 2.25 lengths from the winner at the end of 1280m. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. IRISH JIG (2) did a good job last start to finish second at this track over 1280m, beaten a long neck. That run should have him rock-hard fit now.
