SAMURAI (6) drifted well back when resuming last start before winding up strongly to just miss when second over 1200m at Ballarat. Strong effort last time and is worth following up. LIGHTNING EXPRESS (1) is backing up 10 days after finishing third over 1600m at Kilmore. Draws the fence and is a definite winning chance. LORD DOMINO (5) finished third last start over 1400m at Wangaratta, beaten 2 lengths. Nicely placed to play a major role. THE MAGGSTAR (2) turned in a modest performance when fifth last time out over 1400m at Pakenham, beaten 5 lengths, after a win at this track at the previous outing. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time.
