LA PLEINE LUNE (1) faded late last time over 1400m at Echuca after showing good early speed, eventually finishing fourth. Will take catching. FIRE TRIBE (8) finished fifth over 1206m at Benalla when resuming last start after strong market support, beaten only 2 lengths. Nicely placed to give this a mighty shake. KALIMNA VIEWS (7) proved too strong two runs ago at Pakenham. Couldn't follow that up last time out when fifth over 1400m at Pakenham, beaten 6 lengths. Faces an easier assignment so she will prove hard to beat. SHOCKLETZ (9) has not been sighted since she finished eighth over 2000m at Flemington on November 2. Looks ready to run a big race following two recent trials. Solid top-three hope.
TIPS
