FIELDS OF COURAGE (5) peaked on his run when resuming last start over 1400m at Pakenham, winding up in fifth. Steps up in journey this time. Comes down a level this time. Should be in the finish. STEVE'S WAY (9) showed good early dash before weakening to be beaten 5.5 lengths into eighth over 1600m at Albury last time out. Will go forward and is expected to be in the finish. SUPER SOLAR (10) hasn't made an impression lately despite market confidence. Last start could only manage fifth over 1514m at Yarra Valley. Likely improver worth including. CHOSEN VENTURE (3) was beaten 4.5 lengths into seventh over 1300m at Swan Hill at his latest appearance. Has his share of talent and is a top-three prospect.
