AEROSTERN BRO (1) improved last time out, finishing 2 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 1300m at Canberra after being in contention on the corner. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is capable of a big performance. WASHIK (12) missed the placings two runs back then didn't feature last start when 7 lengths away in seventh over 1300m at Hawkesbury. Finds a nice race and can find winning form. TANGELO STAR (10) showed good early speed then led into the straight when fresh from a spell last start before fighting on to finish third, beaten 4.5 lengths, over 1400m at Mudgee. Will push forward and is among the chances. JU TWO (2) was in contention on the corner and finished second last time over 1250m at Taree when resuming from a spell, beaten 1.1 lengths. Placed to advantage so expect a forward showing.
