LAKE AGAWAM (1) was ridden quietly from a good draw last start before closing nicely to get up for fourth over 1050m at Oakbank. Capable of overwhelming this field late in proceedings. LORD MORTON (2) finished out of the money when fresh from a spell two starts back then was beaten 2 lengths when fifth in a 1050m contest at Oakbank two weeks ago. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. CROWN MOSHE (12) turned things around last start and scored by 2 lengths after being in the firing line on the corner over 1100m at Bordertown. Meets some better types this time but another win beckons. GRAFTON AVENUE (14) has been out of the winner's list for a long time, last start finishing fourth at Mt Gambier over 1214m. Best figures measure up nicely. Can do a lot better.
