GIORGI (11) doesn't win very often but ran a nice race last time out over 1506m at Gawler, finishing fourth and beaten 2.5 lengths. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. TAKE A PICK (6) drops back in trip after he was well held last time in sixth over 2500m at Murray Bridge. Better than that and can feature on his best form. AMBITIOUS CREEK (1) is close to breaking through after two consecutive placings, the latest at Strathalbyn over 2050m. Sairyn Fawke stays aboard. Should be involved in the finish. PIANTA (5) registered his first win last start over 1400m at Mt Gambier, getting home by a head. Tougher task this time but expected to be competitive again.
TIPS
