NEW SURPRISE (6) flew the lids last start and led throughout to register her maiden win by 3.5 lengths at this track over 320m (18.23). Harder here but will be in this for a long way. ZIPPING DELORIS (5) scored two back when on speed but last start drifted back and could manage only a 12 length 7th at Richmond Straight (18.53). Better than last start and can bounce back. RUN FOR DAD (8) is a last-start placegetter who will have admirers.
