OPENING BAT (4) finished midfield when resuming from a break last time out over 1600m at Bath when well supported. Will strip much fitter so he looks sure to be in the finish. FROSTMAGIC (14) broke through for his maiden win over 2000m at Doncaster last time. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Shaping up nicely and he should be in the finish again. A LA LOUCHE (8) returns after six-and-a-half months in the paddock. Closed the last campaign with a eighth over 1400m at Chelmsford. Rates highly on best figures and should be right in this. BETA READER (6) scored two back at Wolverhampton but was below his best last time when sixth over 1440m at Wolverhampton. Deserves another chance.
