MADDIE ODD SOCK (6) was unwanted in betting when starting from the same box but ran very well, finishing in the minors over 525m at this track in a Grade 5 in 30.70. Should be in this for a long way. SUMMER SPRITZ (8) has been settling off the speed lately, finishing fifth (26.55) last time in a Grade 5 at Geelong. Should be about the mark. FANCY FREDA (2) raced handy last time and scored. Hard to beat again.
