DEAR RALPHY (5) filled a minor prize two back in a steeplechase (5150m) at Plumpton then again ran a good race to finish second last time out, beaten a head, in a hurdle (5200m) at Fontwell Park. Likely to be thereabouts. BRIEFLY (4) did a good job to clock-in third two back in a hurdle (4900m) at Wincanton then ran a nice race last time found one better in a hurdle (4700m) at Ascot 51 days ago, 4.5 lengths behind the winner. Expect the good recent form will stack up. LIHYAN (1) did fairly well when he finished second in a hurdle (4100m) at Newcastle two runs back. Less effective last time when 10 lengths away in eighth in a hurdle (4860m) at Haydock Park. Expect a return to form.
