ASSAILANT (17) has been racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid third at this track over 2000m. Drawn out but should be in the finish again. GENTILESCHI (14) was in contention on the corner and finished second last time over 1800m at Randwick, beaten 1.75 lengths. Will trim down following recent racing. Placed to advantage so expect another bold run.
