ELIVINA (8) showed good early speed and raced just off the lead before lifting to score by 0.6 lengths over 1500m at Newcastle last start. Will go forward and should be in the finish again. DARK STRATUM (10) finished second at Warwick Farm two runs back but was less effective last time over 1550m at Canterbury, finishing 3.5 lengths back in seventh. Finds a nice race and can turn things around. WILD SENSATION (4) used the rails draw to good effect last start, bouncing straight to the lead and scoring an all-the-way win over 1400m at this track. Should figure in the finish. CHILLY CHARLIE (2) failed to threaten when fresh from a spell last time out, beaten 7 lengths into ninth over 1300m at Hawkesbury. Improvement in store with added fitness and the blinkers removed.
