COURT OF APPEAL (10) was far from disgraced when third last start over 2100m at Hawera, beaten 0.9 lengths. That followed a win at Taupo the start prior. Finds a tougher race but a big run is on the cards. JOLTED (4) made significant late ground last start to get up for second over 2100m at Tauranga. Goes well at this journey, including two wins from six starts. One of the main contenders. KING OF THE NORTH (6) is struggling to break through but hasn't been far away, the latest effort a third, beaten a neck, over 2200m at Te Aroha. Overdue for a win and he cannot be underestimated.
