MESMERISE (14) was in control from the outset to score as favourite on debut over 1200m at this track three weeks ago. Will come on following that run and looks tough to hold out again. FALCON ACE (12) showed early speed from an outside draw last time out and led for much of the way before finding one better at the end of 1400m at this track. Will take catching. BRING ME DOWN (5) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 4.5 lengths when fifth over 1200m at this track three weeks ago. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. SONIC FOCUS (2) is back from a spell of four-and-a-half months. Closed last prep with a sixth, beaten 9 lengths, over 1200m at this track. Definite player.
