The winkers are removed now and looks a top chance in this. BELMONT PARK (3) was ridden quietly then made some inroads and finished 2.5 lengths away in seventh last time out over 1200m at this track when fresh from a spell. Tackles a longer journey this time. Will drift back but wind up late. Among the main hopes. ELLEVES (6) was in the placings when a length back from the winner last start at Bowen on a soft track and is down in weight this time. Drawn to enjoy a nice run just off the lead. Not to be discounted.
