KOROBEINIKI (2) was safely held when fifth last time out over 1717m at this track, beaten 5 lengths. That followed a win at this track at the previous outing. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time. SAMURAI (4) ran fourth at his latest appearance over 1400m at Bendigo, finishing 2.5 lengths from the winner. One of the better chances.
