SAXON JEWEL (8) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 2.25 lengths when sixth over 1200m at Pinjarra three weeks ago after being prominent at the bend. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. FINAL CALL (3) resumes from a spell of three-and-a-half months. Could only manage to finish tenth at the latest run over 1500m at Ascot. Tuned up with a fifth in a recent trial at Lark Hill. Rates highly on best figures and should be right in this. LA EXCELLENCE (2) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 1300m at this track, beaten 1.2 lengths. No surprise to see him in the mix.
