STARRY JACK (1) progressed nicely last time out to finish just a long neck from the winner in second over 1206m at Port Macquarie after being prominent at the bend. Finds a suitable race and can play a major role. AYE AYE SKIPPER (12) turned in a nice effort to score two runs ago but was less impressive last time out when fifth over 1420m at Grafton, beaten 3.5 lengths. One of the main hopes.
