What is Live Tracker?
Live Tracker is an in-app functionality that allows punters to follow their racing bets from their home screen.
Keep up to date with your how your racing bet is going without having to open the app!
What Bets display on the Live Tracker for Racing?
Live tracker is available on Fixed Win and Place and Tote Single bets for Australian and New Zealand thoroughbreds only.
How does it work?
Live Tracker is initiated and controlled by you within the betr app.
When you place an eligible Racing bet, you can go to your pending bets and activate the Live Tracker toggle.
The Live Tracker will appear on your lock screen 10 minutes from the scheduled start time of the race.
For first time users, make sure you click “Allow Live Activities from betr” to be able to continue to use the feature. You may also be prompted to “Allow Frequent Updates”, you will need to click “Enable” to continue using the feature.
Once the race has finished, if you would like to clear your Live Tracker, you can swipe it away on your lock screen. Alternatively, you can turn Live Tracker off by switching the Live Tracker toggle off in your pending bets.
There is a maximum of 5 Live Trackers that can be used at one time.
Who can use Live Tracker?
Live Tracker is an iPhone only product. Users must have an iPhone 14 pro or later models to use the feature. Users must also be on iOS 17.2.
The countdown on the Live Tracker says 0.00, has the race jumped yet?
Unlike on the app or website, when the countdown timer hits the scheduled start time of the race, instead of going into negative, it will stay on 0.00. When the race has started, the 0.00 will be replaced by Closed.
My Live Tracker says my bet is resulted, but the results are still in interim?
At betr, we pay out at the interim stage, this means your Live Tracker will display as resulted if the bet is settled in the interim stage.
If there is a protest, your Live Tracker will not update with the new result. In the instance your horses position changes due to a protest, your pending bets will have the correct outcome of your bet once the bet is re-settled.
