The Knicks produced the greatest comeback in NBA Finals history, coming from 29 points down to pinch a one-point win in Game 4. Can they close the series and take out the championship in San Antonio?

What an incredible comeback it was in Game 4, leaving serious question marks around the durability of this young Spurs outfit.

Wemby played huge minutes in Game 4 and looked completely gassed, while the Knicks carry an enormous amount of momentum into Game 5 in San Antonio, where they’ve already won twice this series.

Can the Spurs extend the series on their home floor and give the series a pulse, or will the Knicks be too strong and secure their first championship in 53 years?

I honestly think this will be it and the Knicks will be crowned NBA Champions.

The lack of maturity of the Spurs has been on full display this series. They’ve struggled to close out games with no go-to play to get an easy bucket, while Spurs head coach Mitchell Johnson has really struggled to make adjustments, in-game reads and the correct rotations.

New York just appear too organised, with multiple plans that Mike Brown can go to and Jalen Brunson causing way too many problems. In their three series closers this post-season, their average winning margin is 39.3 points.

He’s been incredible this series, averaging 23.8 points per game and hitting 15+ points in all four games.

OG has also performed well in the series closers this post-season. Against the Hawks he had 29 points in 27 minutes, while against Cleveland he had 17 points in 27 minutes.

We’ll likely continue to see OG playing 36+ minutes regardless of score in Game 5, so he’ll be hitting 15.

Foul trouble killed Stephon Castle in Game 4, and the Spurs desperately need him on the floor as he appears to be the only matchup troubling Brunson.

Castle is averaging 16.8 points per game this series, hitting 15+ points twice, but in the two games he failed to hit 15 points he played less than 30 minutes.

Getting back to San Antonio in Game 5, and potentially the rub of the green in terms of officiating, we should see Castle around the 36-minute mark. In the last 22 games he’s played 30+ minutes, he’s scored 15+ in 20 of those games.
