The Rams look to continue their chase for the #1 seed in the NFC when the struggling Bucs come to LA in Monday’s primetime matchup. Here are my NFL betting tips for this Week 12 matchup.

After two straight defeats, the Bucs need a much-needed win when they head to LA on Monday. They come off a poor defensive performance in Buffalo as they allowed 44 pts and facing an in-form Rams attack won’t be easy either. But Sean Tucker showed some nice signs in the Bucs running game last week, finishing with 106 rushing yards and 2 TD’s. The key will be their pass defence against Stafford and based on numbers, the Bucs are likely going to struggle. They allowed the 27th most passing yards and gave up 3 passing TD’s to Josh Allen last game.

The Rams are on fire. They’ve won 5 straight games and have taken down divisional rivals in back to back games. They smashed the 49ers on the road 42-26 then held on to beat Seattle 21-19 at home last week. Rams QB Matthew Stafford is playing at a high level. He’s already totalled 27 passing touchdowns and he’s gone over 2+ pass TD’s in 4 straight games. As a result, they’re scoring 27 points per game, which ranks them 6th. On defence, they are just as good. They’ve given up just 17.2 ppg, which puts them 2nd in the league.

It’s hard to see the Bucs defence getting better so this looks like a tough matchup for them. The Rams at home are a tough opposition too. They’ve won 9 of their last 11 at home against Tampa and have covered in 4 of their last 5 games.

The way the Bucs defence is playing, the Rams should really be able to take advantage and turn into this into a high scoring affair. The Over also has a 6-1 record when these two sides meet. Tampa Bay are 6-2 against the Over in their last 8 games as well.

Williams is likely the best bet to get back into the endzone in Week 12. He’s coming off 3 straight games with a TD and that includes 2 against the 49ers a few weeks ago. The Bucs defence gave up 6 total touchdowns last week so this should be a nice matchup.
