There is just one game on the NBA playoffs slate this Saturday and it’s going to be the Warriors hosting the Rockets in a crucial Game 6. If the Warriors win on home court, they advance to the 2nd round. But the Rockets are coming off a massive win at home and will be desperate to avoid a series exit in the 1st round as the #2 seed. Here is the preview of the huge Game 6 clash.

The Rockets are back on the road for a huge Game 6 against the Warriors, with Golden State leading the series 3-2. It’s do-or-die time—if Houston wins, they force a Game 7 back home. If they lose, it’s season over.

They’re coming off a strong performance in Game 5, beating the Warriors 131-116 at home. Fred VanVleet was hot, dropping 26 points on 61.5% shooting, while Amen Thompson added 25 points and Sengun nearly had a triple-double with 15 points, 9 rebounds, and 9 assists—plus 2 steals and 2 blocks.

Jalen Green struggled a bit with just 11 points, but he’s still averaging 21 a game this series, even if he’s shooting just 42% from the floor. Sengun’s been big on the boards, grabbing 10 a game, and VanVleet continues to set the pace with 5.6 assists and 35 minutes a night. Houston’s 2-6 in their last 8 and sitting 2nd in the West, but all that matters now is surviving Game 6.

The Warriors head into Game 6 with a 3-2 series lead and a shot to close things out at home. They took a bit of a breather in Game 5, resting starters like Curry and Butler — who combined for just 6-of-22 shooting — as the Rockets ran away with a 131-116 win.

Golden State’s bench did most of the heavy lifting, with Moses Moody dropping 25 points and grabbing 9 boards, and Kevin Knox II chipping in 14. Despite the loss, the Warriors have won 5 of their last 8 and are still in control. Curry’s averaging 24.5 points and 6 assists per game in the series while shooting nearly 45% from the field. Draymond’s been steady on the boards with just over 6 a night.

The Dubs are 7th in the West and know what’s at stake—a win wraps it up, but a loss sends them back to Houston for a hostile Game 7.

Stadium Record

Golden State are 1-5 ATS in its last 6 games at home. Houston is 1-9 in its last 10 games when playing on the road against Golden State.

Head to Head Record

In the last 10 meetings, the Warriors are 6-4.

Best Bet

I think the odds are about right with the Warriors $1.43 to win. They rested their starters in Game 5 and home court advantage should be a big factor for the Warriors. However, I think betting on the points is a safer bet and I like the Unders trend. It’s 7-2 when these two teams play each other and both games at this venue in the series have been low scoring.
