As expected, the 76ers struggled in Game 1 of this series without Joel Embiid and they’ll need to bounce back quickly before this becomes a 2-0 series deficit. In Game 1, the 76ers shot just 17% from beyond the arc and Maxey/Harden were disappointing. Harden finished with just 16 pts and 5 turnovers. Meanwhile, Maxey shot 7 of 21 and scored 19 pts in 35 minutes. A special mention to Niang as well after he missed all 14 shots and was 0-7 from three. But, the standout was Harris with 27 pts and he’ll need to continue that form into Game 2. Without Embiid, they obviously struggled to match his production through Jordan and Niang.

A perfect start to the series for the Heat with a 106-92 victory. Herro top scored for the Heat off the bench with 25 pts and Adebayo dominated with 24 pts / 12 boards. The fact that Jimmy Butler had a quiet game with just 15 pts is a great sign going forward for the Heat in this series and beyond. However, there are some injury issues to watch out for. Herro hurt his ankle in Game 1 and is questionable. Lowry is still out with a hamstring injury and Vincent is dealing with a knee issue.

The total easily went Under in Game 1 and we’re expecting more of the same in Game 2. The Under is now 5-0 in the Heat’s last 5 games and last 5 at home. It’s also 4-1 when these two sides meet in Miami. Philadelphia is now 5-1 against the Under in their last 6 and 6-3 when they hit the road.

Stadium Record

The Heat are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 home games. Philadelphia has lost 6 of their last 7 in Miami.

Head to Head Record
