The Dolphins will take a true-blue Aussie teammate into battle with them next year after signing a partnership agreement with wagering company BlueBet.<\/p>\n
The BlueBet logo will be etched into the history of the club\u2019s entry to the NRL when it appears on the top back of the jersey as\u00a0the Dolphins run out for their first match in March.<\/p>\n
Sydney-based BlueBet has plenty of synergy with the Dolphins, underlined by the fact that BlueBet\u2019s chairman Michael Sullivan and chief executive Bill Richmond were both raised in Brisbane.<\/p>\n
Like the Dolphins, who have a 75-year history and have now ascended to\u00a0the NRL, BlueBet are currently going through an expansion into the US market.<\/p>\n
This comes after significant growth in the highly competitive Australian online wagering market since the company\u2019s\u00a0inception in 2015.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe see a lot of similarities between ourselves and the Dolphins \u2013 a new and emerging brand that has quickly connected with Australians,\u201d said BlueBet chief executive Bill Richmond.<\/p>\n
\u201cUnder the guidance of chief executive Terry Reader and head coach Wayne Bennett and with the administration team they\u2019ve put together, we believe the Dolphins will create something special very quickly.<\/p>\n

BlueBet is led by an experienced Board and senior management team, with several key executives having held management and leadership positions with well-known wagering and gaming companies including Sportingbet, Centrebet and Aristocrat.<\/p>\n
BlueBet will allocate a percentage of its stadium signage included in the Dolphins partnership to promote Responsible Gambling information across the term of the deal.<\/p>\n
Dolphins\u2019 chief Terry Reader said the partnership between the Dolphins and BlueBet was a natural fit.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe have had a long relationship with the key leadership from BlueBet, so are excited to continue that association with this partnership,\u201d said Reader.<\/p>\n
