    Small field here & it\u2019s hard to go past the Hawkes trained Soarhi, who has improved with each and every run. He won on debut in maiden grade, before tackling BM64 grade where he ran a solid race, finishing 1.5L away. Last start, he racing in BM64 grade again & lost by just 0.1L over 1500m. Looks like will enjoy the step up to 1600m here and can continue to improve. Hard to beat in this small field.<\/span><\/p>\n

    SANDOWN RACE 4 \u2013 17:25 AEDT<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n

    1. AIRCLASH (<\/b>$4.60<\/b><\/a>)<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Airclash looks like a horse on the up & I think he can take the next step here today. He was good first up at Geelong, finishing just 0.2L away; he followed that up with a strong win at Mornington last start, despite working hard early from a wide barrier. Steps up to 1400m here which looks to suit, but draws a wide barrier again, so will definitely need a good ride from the in-form Ethan Brown. Should go close with even luck.<\/span><\/p>\n

      SANDOWN RACE 6 \u2013 18:30 AEDT<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n

      1. TYCOON BEC (<\/b>$4.20<\/b><\/a>)\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Tycoon Bec looks a talented horse; she scored three wins in her debut prep by a combined 6.8L, but has had two runs this prep and failed to win either, although she did have excuses in both runs. She was having her first start in 301 days first up and was vetted prior to the run, but still ran a solid race, leading for most of the way, just tiring late. Last start, she lead again but worked hard and was overcome late, in a race where swoopers dominated. She draws a wide barrier here, but should be able to cross easily. Can improve here and should be much fitter now.<\/span><\/p>\n

        WARWICK FARM RACE 7 \u2013 17:50 AEDT<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n

        1. MARNIX (<\/b>$19.00<\/b><\/a>)\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          Marnix looks an interesting runner here; he\u2019s had a few starts on rain-affected ground and also suffered a bit of bad luck in a couple of his runs. Last start, he raced on a Heavy Canterbury track and began awkwardly, missing the start and never really coming into it. He gets back to a Good track here and we could see a sharp improvement. He\u2019s the type of horse that needs some luck in the run, but with the right run, he could certainly feature here in the finish.<\/span><\/p>\n
