    The lightly raced Carolina Fire looks the one to beat here in my opinion; she was strong when leading all the way at Hawkesbury two starts ago, winning by an impressive 2.5L. Last start, she was up in class and held her own, finishing 2.8L away in second behind Buba in BM68 grade. She drops back in grade here slightly and finds herself a winnable race.<\/span><\/p>\n

    GEELONG RACE 4 \u2013 16:50 AEDT<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n

    1. GALATHILION (<\/b>$8.50<\/b><\/a>)\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Interesting race here with a few runners having just their first or second career start. Honest Legend has been backed early but looks short now. Galathilion looks like one that could take the next step here at good odds; he closed strongly on debut, despite being hampered and laying in. He then raced last start at Sandown, where he over-raced and again laid out in the straight. I think he\u2019ll progress strongly here & finds a race where he can run well.<\/span><\/p>\n

      GEELONG RACE 6 \u2013 18:00 AEDT<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n

      1. LOVE TAKES TIME (<\/b>$2.65<\/b><\/a>)<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Love Takes Time won impressively on debut over And She Was & although the margin was just 0.3L, there was a further 12L back to third place. She was then spelled and was unlucky when resuming, getting blocked for a run. She was below her best last start at Sandown when dropping down to 1400m for the first time. She steps up to 1700m here, which looks to suit perfectly. Expecting a bounce back performance here.<\/span><\/p>\n

        WARWICK FARM RACE 3 \u2013 15:30 AEDT<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n

        1. ETHERIDGE (<\/b>$11<\/b><\/a>)\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          Favourite Oceanic Flash looks on the up, but struggled on his only go on a Heavy track as a $1.80 favourite, so I\u2019m keen to look elsewhere. Etheridge looks an interesting runner here for mine; she\u2019s run well multiple times on rain-affected tracks and over this distance. She was poor last prep, but was quickly spelled and resumed a better horse this prep. She\u2019s fourth up here and should be rock hard fit.<\/span><\/p>\n
