SANDOWN RACE 2 – 13:00 AEST

Fac has only had three starts but has already picked up the bridesmaid tag, having finished second in each of his runs to date. He was sound on debut at Sale, before heading to Pakenham Synthetic and running very well but was unable to get past the leader. Last start was blocked for a run near the 600m mark but was strong when clear. Gets his chance today and will be hard to beat.

SANDOWN RACE 5 – 14:45 AEST

Kuribai dominates the market here after a dominant first up win, but she certainly looks short enough. La Chevalee was first up last start but was vetted prior to running which may have affected his performance. He sat outside the leader (who went on to win) but was no match during the straight. He stuck on gamely for second however, and there was a further 3L back to third place. He’ll be much fitter for that run and looks a great chance here.
