    High Ferocity looks the one to beat here and he might finally be able to secure his first win, which has eluded him to date. He\u2019s been running well so far this prep, finishing in the placings in his last four runs. He handled the step up to 1500m nicely last start, so I think 1700m should be no issue here.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    CANTERBURY RACE 4 \u2013 14:35 AEST<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n

    1. ZELIFY (<\/b>$2.15<\/b><\/a>)<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Half the field has been scratched here, leaving just four runners to contest the race. Zelify looks a great chance for Berry\/Waller after scoring a nice win at Kembla Grange last start. He was poor first up at Gosford, but managed to hit back last start and looks the one to beat in this small field. Has won on Soft ground before, so expecting him to run a solid race here.<\/span><\/p>\n

      CANTERBURY RACE 5 \u2013 15:10 AEST<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n

      1. BETHENCOURT (<\/b>$3.60<\/b><\/a>)<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Bethencourt is first up here but has had two solid trials leading in, so I think he\u2019ll be ready to go first up. He showed talent last prep, winning strongly at Wyong before somewhat failing at Kensington the following start. He\u2019s certainly got some room left to improve, and if he returns well, he\u2019ll be hard to hold out today.<\/span><\/p>\n

          This race looks wide open and I think there could be a number of chances at goods, however, I\u2019m siding with last start winner Fiable. Fiable scored at big odds last start after settling midfield and making a wide run rounding the turn. She was too strong late and up against this field, she\u2019s certainly in this. She\u2019s also won at the \u2018Bool in Heavy conditions, so should handle the going.<\/span><\/p>\n
