    This Waller trained runner has displayed talent in the past, but has had excuses in his past few. Last start, he raced erratically, with T Berry hearing noises from the gelding\u2019s throat and he was confirmed to have suffered poor post race recovery. He was spelled after that run and returns today after a gelding operation. If he returns to his previous form, it\u2019ll take a great debut from the favourite here to beat him.<\/span><\/p>\n

    1. APRES LA MER (<\/b>$2.25<\/b><\/a>)<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      It\u2019s generally a questionable tact taking shorts about an eight start maiden, but Apres La Mer looks a great chance to remove the maiden tag here. She\u2019s been knocking on the door for a win during her career, finishing second four out of five runs this prep. She\u2019s raced against Oxley Road and it only looks a matter of time before she wins her first race.<\/span><\/p>\n

      KENSINGTON RACE 8 \u2013 17:50 AEDT<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n

      1. EXCELTIC (<\/b>$6.50<\/b><\/a>)<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Open race here with Blesk headlining the betting, however, Exceltic looks the main chance here in my opinion. He\u2019s been racing consistently so far this prep, scoring a win first up and finishing close up in his next four runs. He should be more suited returning to 1400m here after dropping to 1250m last start.<\/span><\/p>\n

          The unbeaten Pale King dominates the betting here, and rightly so after two impressive wins to kick off his career. It\u2019s a very open race if he comes up a bit short here though, and Rippa Choice looks a great value bet. He\u2019s had three starts this prep and has performed a touch below par in each of them.
