    New King had his first Australian start just two starts ago, where he was slow out of the gates but hit the line fairly. He then followed that up with a big improvement out to 1500m, running home powerfully in the wet to salute over Word For Word and Frosty Rocks. Faces a similar field here and should be fitter again. Looks hard to beat.<\/span><\/p>\n

      Up in class here after a brilliant debut win at Pakenham where she ran home well to win by a comfortable 3 lengths. She was very good late there, which suggests she has further improvement to come. Lacked early speed in her debut, but confident she will prove too good regardless.<\/span><\/p>\n

        Funstar is obviously the class runner here, but I suspect he\u2019ll be a bit soft first up and will no doubt have bigger fish to fry this prep. Roheryn was very good behind Eduardo last start and gets in here with a light weight. After racing well this prep, he looks much better value here for mine.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

          Surreal Image was good behind Winning Partner and Alsvin last start and maps to get a relatively easy lead here, which is rarely a negative at the Valley. There\u2019s a few runners carrying in excess of 60kg here, whereas Surreal Image gets in near the bottom of the weights with only 56.5kg. His weight relief, paired with his positive mapping position puts him as a great value bet here.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
