    Had it all to do last start when sitting near last rounding the turn, before letting down a strong burst to finish just 1.7L away from winner Inanup. The start prior, he let down strongly to score over Ghostly and Malea Magic. His get back, run on style means he will always need luck, but he looks very talented and on the up. Extra distance here should suit and he should take beating.<\/span><\/p>\n

      Was terribly unlucky not to win last start after Sherry went for a tight gap which caused the gelding to lose momentum. He still managed to pick up again and hit the line strongly there in a solid BM78 behind Spaceboy. Sherry gets a chance to redeem himself here and I think Black Magnum will have taken benefit from that run.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

        Comes across from South Australia after going down narrowly last start against the talented Defiant Dancer. If we swap the runs with the favourite in that race, Winning Partner would have been victorious in my opinion. The start prior, he put in strong sectionals to win at Murray Bridge. Keen to see how he goes at 1500m, but confident he can measure up here.<\/span><\/p>\n

          If we take away his run two back at Sandown, where he failed as favourite and finished last, he\u2019s run very solid this prep. He scored a nice win at odds second up behind Duke Of Plumpton, and has finished close up behind Creedence twice. Reasonably small field, so provided the track plays relatively fair, he\u2019s one that looks over the odds for me today.<\/span><\/p>\n
