All eyes will be on Japanese superstar Danon Premium as he looks to take out the race first up. He’ll have his work cut out for him though, facing a softer track than usual against a high quality field which includes multiple Group 1 winners.

Addeybb gets all the favours out in front here and he can run them along at his own pace from barrier 1. Gailo Chop and Imaging should be prominent as well, followed by Happy Clapper and Melbourne Cup winner Vow and Declare. Master of Wine draws wide with Kings Will Dream. Verry Elleegant and Te Akau Shark should be toward the rear of the field.

Ran right up to his overseas form in his debut Australian run last start, winning a 2-horse war against Verry Elleegant over 2000m in the Ranvet. Was seriously impressed with the way he lifted when he was headed. Stays at the same distance here, which is no issue and he can improve slightly off that first up performance.

Has been phenomenal so far this prep, winning over 1400m first up before jumping to 2000m and putting them to the sword on a bog Rosehill track. He beat Mustajeer there by 3.5L, which puts him right up there with Verry Elleegant. He’ll be even better third up and looks a live chance.

|
