Was first up last start after a 299-day spell at this grade. Since resumed at Caulfield in higher grade than this and finished within 4.4L of the winner \u2013 not a bad effort coming off a long spell. Has trialled well since then and looks to have taken improvement off that run. Up in weight slightly but has an apprentice claim which should help. Critically, gets out to a heavy track here and after two consecutive solid runs in a row it could be his time. Up in class, but Teo Nugent claims 2kg.
