He has only had two starts over the jumps but has finished in the top 2 both times, including a 10L romp here two years ago. Has far better flat form than these here and should be able to start the day off well for punters.<\/p>\n SATORI ($2.50)<\/strong><\/p>\n Holds a terrific overall record (8: 4-2-1) and is unbeaten from 3 starts first up which bodes well for today as he is racing fresh here. Also has some form behind the talented Fifty Stars last prep \u2013 a prep which could have easily resulted in a few more wins, if not for a few narrow defeats. Should be able to control the race from in front and should be too good.<\/p>\n GOLD MEDALS ($6.00<\/a>)<\/strong><\/p>\n This looks like a cracking edition of the Grand Annual and will no doubt be the highlight of the week (just ask Ric McIntosh). I\u2019m siding with last year\u2019s winner Gold Medals who is on the quick backup from the Brierly after narrowly going down to Bit of a Lad. He had the same lead in last year before winning and in fact he bested the race favourite twice that week.
