Manchester City v Watford

After trailing Liverpool in second place for the past few weeks, Manchester City have ended gameweek 29 on top of the English Premier League table, with the title now in their hands.

City have taken maximum points from their past five games, including back-to-back 1-0 wins over West Ham and Bournemouth.

Pep Guardiola’s men currently hold a one-point lead over Liverpool and have a superior goal difference of seven goals, which could come in handy at season’s end.

They do have some injury concerns however, with Kevin De Bruyne, John Stones and Fernandinho all set to spend some time on the sidelines.

Watford on the other hand come into the contest on the back of an injury time winner against Leicester last weekend.

Prior to that contest, the Hornets were smacked by Liverpool 5-0 at Anfield during the week, meaning they failed that test against one of the league’s two frontrunners.

They could make amends by grabbing a point off City in this fixture, although that seems very unlikely, even despite their injuries.

Tip: Under 3.5 goals – $1.92

Liverpool v Burnley

Liverpool have let first position on the EPL table slip from their grasp, although with nine games to play it’s still anyone’s title.

Goalless draws against Everton and Manchester United over the past week have seen the Reds drop points they shouldn’t have given up, which is why City are currently leading the race for the 2018-19 crown.

Jurgen Klopp will be looking to get his side back on track this Sunday night against Burnley, who have lost two on the bounce after defeating Tottenham at home a fortnight ago.

In the reverse fixture earlier this season, Burnley did go 1-0 at home against the Reds, although they fought back strongly to record a 3-1 win back in December.

Liverpool’s home form of late has been strong, and they’ve also been resolute in defence, keeping clean sheets in their last five matches in all competitions.

After a poor showing against Everton, this one could get ugly for Burnley as Liverpool look to get back on track.

Tip: Liverpool -2.0 – $2.30
