Matchday 15 EPL

Watford v Manchester City

Vicarage Road, Wednesday 5 December, 7am

Manchester City will be out to continue their unbeaten start to the season on Wednesday morning, when they visit the 10th-placed Watford.

City were given a scare by Bournemouth at home on the weekend after Callum Wilson levelled the scores early in the second half, before they managed to slot two more past the Cherries for a 3-1 home win.

Watford on the other hand failed to score for the second straight game and the third time in four weeks, after going down to Leicester 2-0 away from home.

The Hornets have grabbed just one point from their past four games, while City have only dropped four points all season long.

Pep Guardiola’s men are in the middle of a busy fixture list with Champions League matches and this midweek round, but they should still have enough to topple the Hornets.

Tip: Manchester City -1.0 @ $1.72

Wolverhampton v Chelsea

Molineux Stadium, Thursday 6 December, 6.45am

Chelsea jumped back into the winner’s circle over the weekend, after a 2-0 home win against Fulham.

The Blues had suffered a mini-slump following a loss to Tottenham and a draw to Everton, although the win kept them five points behind Liverpool in second and seven behind Manchester City in first.

Wolves on the other hand have struggled in recent weeks, grabbing just one point from their past six fixtures, which was a 1-1 draw against Arsenal.

Wolverhampton have fallen back to 12th and have found themselves in a no-mans land of sorts, four points from Watford in 10th, while also four points ahead of Crystal Palace in 14th.

Maurizio Sarri’s men should have too much for Wolves in this contest.

Tip: Chelsea @ $1.72

Manchester United v Arsenal

Old Trafford, Thursday 6 December, 7am

In easily the biggest game of the matchday, Arsenal travel to Old Trafford to take on Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United to round out the midweek fixtures.

United turned around a two-goal deficit to grab a draw at Southampton over the weekend, while Arsenal grabbed the chocolates during their North London derby against Tottenham, with a huge 4-2 result.

The Gunners moved past Tottenham into fourth with the win, and are now sitting on 30 points, eight points behind City.

United are a whopping 16 points behind their Manchester rivals, and are in seventh, eight points from Tottenham in fifth.

Ahead of the clash with Arsenal, Mourinho suggested United would need a miracle to finish inside the top four, and it looks that way given not only the style of football they’re playing, but the new-look Arsenal who have impressed after a slow start.

United won both fixtures last season, although look for Arsenal to win their first game at Old Trafford since September, 2006.

Tip: Arsenal @ $2.87
