The 4-3 Pacers will travel to Madison Square Garden to take on the 2-5 New York Knicks on Thursday to kick off a big day of NBA action.

Indiana will enter the clash on the back of a loss to Portland, which ended their two-game winning streak over San Antonio and Cleveland.

The Pacers have been led by Victor Oladipo this season with 21.7 ppg and 4.9 apg, as they have turned their back on the threes.

They’re attempting 73.9% of their shots from inside the arc, which has seen them shoot 50.1% from the field, which is the second-best percentage in the NBA behind the Warriors.

At the other end of the scale, the Knicks are shooting just 43.1%, which is only good enough for 23rd in the league.

They pushed the Warriors on the weekend before being beaten 128-100, as Tim Hardaway Jr. leads the side with 24.4ppg.

Their win over Brooklyn ended a five-game winning streak, but the Pacers will enter the clash the better side and be too strong.

Tip: Indiana -5.5 @ $1.92

Back-to-back wins over Los Angeles and Dallas will see the Spurs enter their fixture with Phoenix with a 4-2 record.

DeMar DeRozan came alive in overtime and led the Spurs with 34 points and nine assists in their 113-108 win over the Mavericks, and they’ll be out to extend their streak to three on Thursday.

The Suns have lost five on the bounce after their opening game win over the Mavs, although four of those have come on the road.

DeAndre Ayton leads the team in points (17.5), rebounds (10.3) and assists (3.8) per game, as the number one draft selection looks to settle to life in Arizona.

Devin Booker has missed the Suns’ last two games, and is still a day-to-day prospect.

The Spurs are attempting the lowest percentage of threes in the league, shooting just 24.7% of their attempts from deep.

Both sides are giving up over 116 points per game, although the Spurs’ big-name players should see them record another victory here.

Tip: San Antonio @ $1.33

The two highest-scoring teams in the NBA come together on Thursday night, as the Pelicans visit the Warriors in San Francisco.

Golden State are pouring in 124.3 points per contest, while New Orleans are second to them with 122.5 points per game.

The Warriors have won five straight to boast a 7-1 record, with Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant and more recently Klay Thompson dominating their past three wins.

Thompson set an NBA record on Tuesday, knocking down 14 triples en route to 52 points.

While the Warriors are hard to stop at the best of times, the Pelicans may be without star centre Anthony Davis, who will be a game-time decision after recently sustaining an elbow injury.

Davis has averaged 27.3 points, 13.3 rebounds and 3.8 blocks per game this season, and has a PER of 33.21, the third best in the league among players who’ve played over four games.

This should be a high scoring game regardless, although the Warriors should come out on top.

Tip: Golden State -12.5 at $1.90

San Antonio Spurs @ Phoenix Suns – ESPN
