The Sixers suffered another batting collapse last match and have started the season poorly with an 0-2 record. They’ve also lost the last two against the Strikers in December so they’ll need improvement from the batting department.<\/p>\n

Adelaide opened the season with an impressive win over the Thunder. They’ve unveiled another spin option in Rashad Khan and his combination with Ben Laughlin is the key. They also have a strong batting combination with Alex Carey at the top and Travis Head coming in at number 3. They’ll hold no fears against the Sixers and we can see an upset in Sydney brewing.<\/p>\n

Top Runscorer: Sixers<\/h3>\n

The Sixers problem has been top-order batting and it’s hard to rely on their openers. Nic Maddinson has scored 31 twice and did top score in the Scorchers loss. Moises Henriques hasn’t looked at his best with 14 runs in two matches. An interesting choice is Sam Billings<\/strong>. He scored a duck last match but did look good in the first match against the Thunder (32). He also top scored against the Strikers in the last meeting when the Sixers were bowled out for 104 so we’ll back him in.

Top Runscorer: Strikers<\/h3>\n

Alex Carey is in super touch at the moment and he smashed a quick-fire 44 in the win over the Thunder. Travis Head<\/strong> also batted well with 36. It’s hard to forget his incredible hundred against the Sixers a few seasons ago and he should enjoy another big score here. Down the order, Colin Ingram has the potential to score big and Jake Lehmann is in good form. But we can’t go past Travis Head.

Strikers WIN ($1.96)<\/strong><\/a>
\nAdelaide is great value in this matchup. They’ve beaten the Sixers in the last two matches. They bowled out the Sixers for 104 in the last meeting and currently the Sixers top-order batting is a huge question mark. So we’re tipping Rashad Khan and Ben Laughlin will continue their batting woes.<\/p>\n

The Renegades have kicked off the Big Bash with two impressive victories over the Hurricanes and Heat. Cameron White is leading the way with the bat and Dwayne Bravo has been their best bowler. They’ve also had strong contributions by Jack Wildermuth, Brad Hogg and Kayne Richardson in the bowling department. They’ve built a strong side and should be hard to beat all tournament.<\/p>\n

Despite question marks about their missing players, the Perth Scorchers have continued to prove the doubters wrong. The credit must be given to the Perth bowling lineup. Andrew Tye has already taken 9 wickets and is well supported by Mitch Johnson, David Willey and Jyhe Richardson. Michael Klinger returned last match and he’ll instantly improve the Scorchers batting lineup as well.<\/p>\n

Top Runscorer: Renegades<\/h3>\n

It’s hard to look past the form of Cameron White<\/strong>. In two matches, he’s totalled 130 runs and has basically led the Renegades to victory in both. Tom Cooper played well last match and actually out-scored White with a six to win the match. Aaron Finch has been very quiet and the Scorchers will likely start with his weakness, spin. So we’ll be steering clear. There is a bit of value for Brad Hodge given the Scorchers ability to take early wickets. However, we’re sticking with Cameron White again.

Top Runscorer: Scorchers<\/h3>\n

With Michael Klinger<\/strong> back in the lineup, he’ll be looking for a big score. He was out for 1 against the Stars but he’s still the highest run scorer in Big Bash history. Hilton Cartwright was the top runscorer against the Stars with an impressive 58. Down the order, Adam Voges and Ashton Agar both played solid knocks in the mid 30s. But in the end, we’re going with Klinger to get back into form.

Scorchers WIN ($2.20)<\/strong><\/a>
\nThe Scorchers are once again the underdog but they’re already 2-0 this season. They have the bowling lineup to really trouble the Renegades batting and we believe this will be the difference between the sides. So for $2.20, that’s great value for an impressive team like the Scorchers.<\/p>\n
