Sunday NRL Tips – Eels, Tries & Addo-Carr in $5.50 Same Game Multi

Coming off a win over the defending NRL Premiers, Parramatta host the Dragons in what promises to be a high-scoring affair on Sunday.

Parramatta Eels vs St. George Illawarra Dragons

The Dragons arrive as a bit of a mixed bag in Round 3. They’re yet to win, but have impressed in patches across the opening rounds, pushing Canterbury to golden point and running Melbourne close before fading late.

For the Eels, they’ve made a surprisingly strong start to the season. Games against both of last year’s Grand Finalists have seen them split results, edging the Broncos 40-32 last week after being trounced by the Storm in Round 1.

LEG 1 - Eels to Win

CommBank Stadium hasn’t been a happy hunting ground for St. George Illawarra, with the Dragons losing their last four in a row at the venue, including a 23-22 thriller last season.

More broadly, Shane Flanagan’s men have dropped their last eight games on the road.

With Parramatta playing in front of their home fans for the first time in 2026, and coming off a strong win, they should be able to add to the Dragons’ travelling woes.

LEG 2 - Over 53.5 Points

This shapes as a high-scoring contest. The Eels have piled on 115 points across their last three games at CommBank Stadium.

Neither side has impressed defensively to start 2026. Parramatta have conceded 52 and 32 in their opening two games, while the Dragons leaked 46 last week.

Two of their last three meetings have also been high scoring — 34-20 in 2025 and 44-40 in 2024 — and with both defensive units still settling, expect points at both ends.

LEG 3 - Josh Addo-Carr to Score 2 Tries

In a game that could open up, Addo-Carr is well placed to capitalise. He’s scored eight tries across his last four appearances at CommBank Stadium.

While he’s yet to score in 2026 after playing just one game, he finished last season strongly with six tries across his final three games.

The Dragons have looked vulnerable on the edges early, conceding 61 points across two matches, so Addo-Carr should get his chances.

Eels to Win / Over 53.5 Points / Addo-Carr to Score 2 Tries = $5.50

VALUE BET - Kyle Flanagan to Score @ $5.00

If this game opens up as expected, Flanagan shapes as a nice value play.

The Dragons five-eighth is a strong support runner in broken play. While he’s scored 12 tries in 44 games for the club, many have come from opportunistic moments.

He could easily find himself in the right place at the right time to cross in support.
