Friday NRL Tips – $6.75 Same Game Multi for the Battle of Brisbane

It’s the battle of Brisbane this Friday night, with the Broncos taking on the Dolphins at Suncorp Stadium in Round 4 of the NRL.

Brisbane Broncos vs Dolphins

Despite the Broncos leading the head-to-head 5-1, this has been a competitive matchup over the last three years.

It’s shaping up that way again in 2026, with both sides bringing unpredictable form into Friday’s clash.

The Dolphins lost in Round 1 to the Rabbitohs but have since put together back-to-back wins over the Titans and Sharks.

Brisbane, meanwhile, looked poor in losses to the Panthers and Eels before coming from behind to beat the Storm in emphatic fashion last week.

LEG 1 - Broncos 1-12

The Broncos finally clicked into gear in the second half against Melbourne last week, playing with real intensity.

They’ve generally had the Dolphins’ number, but four of their five wins in this matchup have been by 10 points or fewer. The Dolphins are a side Brisbane struggle to completely put away.

The Broncos should win, but given the Dolphins’ recent form, don’t expect a blowout.

LEG 2 - Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow to Score

The Hammer loves scoring at Suncorp Stadium, with 20 tries in 14 games at the venue.

He’s scored four tries against Brisbane, including in their most recent meeting, and has crossed in every game so far this season.

If this turns into an open, attacking game, the Dolphins fullback should get his chances.

LEG 3 - Each Team Over 16.5 Points

The last time these two sides met, the final score was 38-28. Across their six meetings so far, the average score sits just over 22-20.

The Dolphins have already scored 30+ twice this season, while the Broncos piled on 18 points in the second half alone against Melbourne last week.

There’s a strong chance both teams score plenty again here.

VALUE BET - Kotoni Staggs 2+ Tries @ $5.50

Staggs is in great form, has an excellent record at Suncorp, and a strong history against the Dolphins.

The Brisbane centre scored a double against the Eels in Round 2 and crossed again last week.

At Suncorp, he has seven tries in his last six games, and he scored two tries the last time these sides met.

In what should be a free-flowing game, Staggs is a genuine chance of another double.
